New medium size bowfin

just picked up two nice size bowfin yesterday there about 5-6 inches each. they were being fed rosy reds. what else can they eat there in a 180gal. how big do you think they can get in there.

That is an awesome specimen, great markings. These fish should be taken a closer look at by Native Keepers, They are really dinosaurs,

you think two 12 inch fish in a 180 gal wont have enough room
 
Some people would put fill a 200g with a minnow haha but they should be fine in that tank for a while, until that bowfins are about 20" each maybe 18"
 
I love em, there my favorite fish. Mine has been growing nice. Maybe try tilapia or blood worms to avoid parasites in the rosy reds.
 
just drop the raw tiliapa in the tank, the kind you get at the supermarket. cut up
 
sorry i got the from a place in akron oh called two turtles. its a lfs that has pretty much everything
