I just wanted to post a few pics of my koi pond, its about 2000 gallons.

Beuatiful Pond! Is it in your front yard?

Yeah, its in the front yard. I wanted a water feature and it turned into a pond, my wife about crapped herself when I finished digging the hole. It's about 3.5' to 4' deep in the center.

Nice pond, you dig it by hand, or did you bring in some machinery? As for your wife, bet she pays more attention the next time you ask if you can try something in the front yard

The backhoe was definately worth the rental fee. As for the wife, she has become fairly understanding over the years.
