Good point T1. Seems if they are 5 years old the male would have to be sexually mature by now right? Good luck and hope you have some pups sooner than later!

captive bred rays you would be on batch 6-8 by now :D

Yeah...it also doesn't help that the male was in BAAAAAAD shape when I got him. He probably should have died but I lucked out majorly in getting him back in shape. When I got him he was the definition of skinny, had blood starting to fill one eye, and had erosion starting up on the disk. The person I purchased him from said he had supposedly been in captivity for a year before I got him (but this guy wasn't the original owner). All I could get him to eat was live blackworms for about two months and he gradually came back onto frozen foods. He's always been a very slow grower and the female outpaced him quickly (she used to be smaller). The past year though, when his claspers started to grow, he started to grow like a weed.

Hopefully someday they'll breed for me.
