the bass activities would most likely be this.
-eat
-rest
-swim back and fourth against the front of the tank waiting for food to drop in
-eat some more
-swim around the take making sure no scraps where missed
-repeat

You forgot
-splash water all over you and the room as food hits water

dude your both right. but im talking about the breed and trying to maintain the proper conditions for the to happen in captivity...

yea good luck. but go on for it, and wow 500g

You want to spawn LMB in home aquaria? Why? Sorry but you can sit on the bank of a pond and watch them "do it" without the thousands of dollars invested in a large group of LMB. I'm sure it would be cool to spawn LMB at home but I could think of a few hundred other natives twice as cool as LMB to spawn at home. To each their own and if you go forward I wish you the best. Keep us updated on the tank construction.

I really don't think one 500g is that big considering you may need several fish to successfully spawn. These are fish that can attain a length of 3 ft and will likely hit close to 2 anyway.

Good luck, but I think if you're serious about this spawning venture you'd be better off trying it in a large pond than an aquarium.

Not that I think that's a bad thing if you wanna build or have a very large tank, but it seems wasted on something like a LMB spawning tank. And what are you going to do with the females? The male isn't going to tolerate her in the tank while he's guarding their fry or eggs.
