Got it from a local shop, they get all their fish imported as well. Hes on hikari cichlid gold/hikari deep red and im giving him market shrimp and green peas. Need to go pickup some different pellets aswell. Thinking about alife pellets or new life spectrum and maybe getting some frozen bloodworms.

I use grand summo red. Very high quality food, as well as a mix of shrimp, zucchini, and a superworm every 3 or 4 days.

Yeah i was thinking about using grandsumo again. I think it has the same protein as alife though. Not sure but i might get the regular grand sumo again. Just that my buddy owns a fish store and he gets alife in all the time and its more convenient for me to get it. I have a fu bottle of GS from two yyears ago but i think its past due lol

Lol yeah it might be. Mack a local fs owner gives it to me for 27 bucks he always hooks mu up

Is that supposed to be cheap because i havent kept up with grand sumo? My local FH shop sells them for $19.99.

Update.

NEED HELP! My FH is losing its color and idk why. Hes turning dark/grey and even his flowerline is looking weird. It looks "cloudy" or white on some areas. Water changes every 3 days about 20-30% so the water quality should be fine and hes still eating and behaving normal. Hoping some of you experts can help me out. 20170629_101601.jpg

How many days was he in the tank? Maybe he still adapting on it since u got it from ur last post. If he still eats, move freely and poops good, wouldn't be worried at least.

He eats and behaves normally, but his color is really dying out. I had him about 2 weeks now i believe and feeding him a bunch of hq food but idk why his color is just so dark now. His flowerline is getting "white'ish" in some areas and his kok looks a bit smaller. Is there anyway to ge6 his color back?
