New Mesoheros gephyrus

Hello, last week I went to one of the higher end fish stores in my area and found a species I never really knew existed, it ended up being Mesoheros gephyrus of a decent size 4 inches or so, anyways I was looking for tankmates in my 180 gallon tank because I just had to move a big convict out of there and I decided to go with these guys after abit if research on my phone in the shop, so far a week in living great with my datnoid and orange blood parrot no aggression at all hopefully it continues

So far has a very good temperament just what I was hoping for, like a friendly red terror

Just an update he’s a lot more comfortable in the tank showing some beautiful colors and swimming openly , took a few pics here they are

Great update! Very cool looking fish! I love the pearls, the reds in the fins, and those black patches that almost look like tiger stripes.

Right now he’s living with a 12 inch indo datnoid and a 6 inch blood parrot
