New MFK ad in TFH: Ahead

I have already devoted one whole Top of The Food Chain to Esox species (northern pike, chain pickerel, and musky, etc...) as well as another whole ToTFC to Micropterus species (i.e., largemouth and smallmouth basses...collectively considered "black basses."). We, as in "TFH" published an entire magazine with the content slanted toward native fishes. That was back in 2003 I think. As for other natives.....wait and see what I write about in a few months

the original version of this ad... would actually cause some more drama toward this "forum war"...

i have actually called up the ad manager one week after the deadline and bug her to take the original ad out.... and replace with the orginal with the current version.

Thanks for all your articles and fine work Brian,
I totally agree that the hostile competition between various forums is counterproductive.
I am hoping that MFK can stand on it's own merits well enough that this sort of thing will die out, I don't really care what other forums do or say as long as we here try to be friendly, informative, and a truly nice place to come to.
Drama is not going to make us better, a love for our fishes and a bonding between or members will.
