also you cant know for sure i the fish will have a big hump until they mature.,... of course some display it at a young age and others dont show because they are not the dominant fish in the tank...

just trying to help you out its amazing how fast they groe it i moved mine to my 150 2 weeks ago and he is already showing signs of a hump....

So for some reason my Petsmart midas is attracted to his reflection in the mirror. Hes been courting his reflection for the last day. I should remove the mirror but its funny.

i think i read somewhere its bad to leave mirrors in the tank for too long...

His tube was sticking out and I'm positive he is male now after I added the parrot. She was more afraid of him so I removed her.

I have seen a few male flowerhorn show interest in breeding before they are ready. So hes probably not ready but he wants to anyway.
