Your not going to know what it is untill you vent it. Anyone saying its male or female just by eyeballing it is simply guessing.

Not that I can tell haven't had the Midas with the female but with the male now and so far so good

is he bigger then her? and if he's not fighting the midas by now then its a female...my brother has a 180 up and running with 1 red devil,1 green texas,1 kkp,1 convict,1 flowerhorn x rt ,1 jack dempsey...all females but 1 male midas and you CANT put another male in that tank no matter what....plus yours looks alot like my old female.

They are about the same length but " she" is a lot thicker and taller

Just because the midas and festae are not fighting does not mean they are either male or female. Like I said your going to need to vent the midas to know what it is and Festae are very tricky you should try posting pics.
