Don you should def get one if given the chance, some vendors here sell them at times. If you ever get this fish you will never need to mag float or scrub your tank ever again!!!

It's the complusivly OCD clean fish ever....LOL

What else do they eat? And do they attack? Sorry for the remedial questions...Not sure there are too many FT's in Washington.

They eat anything and everything. Mostly a plant/pellet eater, LOVE algea more than any pleco Ive ever seen IMO. Not agro at all. Best kept away from its own kind unless you can house a huge shoal of them.

ill keep my eye out for one, like i said, ive never seen one here, ill have to ask a buddy of mine at the lfs if he can snag me one. whats the max size and growth rate on these guys?

You should definitely get one if you can red. These guys can get a couple feet so......
Some say they grow slow, but the three I have in my 300g have grown about an inch in a week or two.
They clean like their life depended on it. It's awesome.

I saw a shoal of about five once and it was INCREDIBLE:eek:!!!! they each were probably a little bigger then two feet and they were beautiful!
