Depends on where you go, but large modestas are cheaper than large clowns.

That actually isn't a large, as far as I've seen. There are some close to eight inches in a LFS in MD - and yes, they are quite aggressive. I've had them with larger Cichlids.

As far as price goes - this is probably the second cheapest Botia available on the East Coast (New England anyways) The cheapest? Skunk botias, which are still my favorite!
