New Monster tank setup coming

'Grats, can't wait to see pictures. Planning either a 375g or 450g myself, but can't find a place where they can source glass thick enough for the latter. Still looking but may well settle for the smaller one. Looking at acrylic as well, but will have to source that from out of the country.

Yes it is very hard to find a tank that size at any LFS. Also you don't want any glass shop to make one for you especially if they don't know what they are doing. You might end up with a leaky tank. Depends on the LFS's connections on making custom tanks most of them that are 400+ gallon must be built on site(built in your own home) but that will cost u an extra 300 bux on top of what the tank costs. Lucky my friend talked to his custom tank maker out of building it on site cuz I didn't want to pay the extra. Only problem when it's ready then I need to find a big enough truck to deliver it and 6 strong guys to lift it into my home lol.

i would of payed the $300 to have it built in my house.. it would be interesting watching them build a 450 right before my eyes!

plus like u said u have to find a truck to move it and people to lift it. unless u got friends with large trucks and strong backs u may end up spending more then $300 in the end..

I was being sarcastic The owners of the LFS are willing to deliver it and there is 3 of them and I have other friends that already helping me move it. Same friends who helped me move my 225g. If my friend and his 2 older brothers that own the LFS aren't willing to help me deliver it I would of been choked cuz I already spent thousands and thousands of dollars at their Fish store...

If you can take photos along the way that would be amazing.. holy crap though, @ that price I want those dimensions for 2k. Can they deliver to Ohio?

Ya I will definitely take photos while in the process of moving it. It'll be funny seeing 6 chinese guys trying to lift this monster lol. Wait til u see my living room space once the tank is in it's place. 2 huge monster tanks in a 1000 sq ft condo suite lol. Thank god I live on the main floor and my floor is concrete hehe.
