what happened to the previous channas in that tank

Thanks and yes the English MFK'r is back. The other channa i had were wittled down to 2 as they paired off. the female then half killed the male and i had to put it out of it's misery. i gave the 9'' female away yesterday to a friend free.

Really nice!!

Interesting to see what others can get in different places in the world. You never see ANYTHING like that around here!! I think I will have to do my first online fish purchase soon!!

Thanks, those are my thoughts exactly as i like to see what other people around the world have access too.

It was a joke.. I was relaying how much I liked them.

Like you could MAIL live fish internationally anyways.. I don't think in the 2-4 weeks it would take to get here that they would still be alive.

Yep LOL, you never know with channa though there tough little buggers

oh............. they are so awesome.. although i have never owned them.. they are the number one fish i would if i could... they look so great together..

They get along very well it seems. A lot of people had problems when they were young as they tend to fight but seem ok at this size.

Thanks, I was just going to get them and keep them at a higher temp and have them as just something to view but then decided to let them settle and put them through a seasonal cycle and try and get a pair. so watch this space.

good luck with all of them ...and update again

Dixon, lookin at that full tank shot makes my heart stop. Seriously man, your tank captures the very essence of what we all feel, and strive to accomplish with our own personal tanks. It is the epitome of what this hobby is all about.

I hope you do get them to breed. Seriously ever since I was a little boy I've wanted to breed this species. You have no idea how privileged you are.

YAAAAAY Welcome to the dark side bucko:headbang2

Hehe these are a great channa to keep, Just be on the look out for sign's of aggresstion as they keep on going and going at ones they don't like, looks like tanks set up very well, mine seem to prefer the tank once i added the floating duckweed, obviously keep it under control if you go down that route, Hope to see some more breeding sucsess,i have my last group left to sell, once there out then attempt at breeding again, ive dropped the water level now for a few weeks, and there now feeding very well on blood worm both live and frozen
