new motoros not eating & retic chasing them.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my retic is breathing really heavy again out of nowhere. motoros are doing just fine, ate and are active. retic breathing heavy hasn't moved dropped worms in her face, nothing. pumping the powerheads on the surface and airstones going.

as soon as you think something is wrong DO A WATER CHANGE!! even if your water test is fine still do a water change. your common indicators are breathing heavy, washed out color, bury itself more than usual, not eating,.... the list goes on. in most cases this is due to bad water so do a water change and figure out your problem.

turning on powerheads and turning the airstones up isnt going to fix it. you might as well keep those turned up in the first place. CHANGE THE WATER its the first thing a ray keeper learns. if 25% isnt enough do 50% or do 25% twice a week. then buy another cannister filter with good bio media. adding chems or ammo chips wont solve the problem thats just a temporary fix and will usually make things worse. i really hope you learn from this so your motoros can live a long and happy life in an upgraded tank soon.
