I got two shrimp, one was a cherry. It's just to start. I will probably get a couple endlers, a couple Scarlet Badis, and a couple Pygmy Cories. Cardinals are out, they get too big. They are sweet though.
well... i'd only have 1 type of fish in there. as I said before dwarf cories like to be in big groups (8+) so i'd say they're out.

Let me digress for a minute...One of my coworkers is a reefkeeping freak. He bought two of the 2.5 gallon tanks that I have, and he is setting up a 2.5 gallon reef with a 2.5 gallon sump. I will get pics from him and post them when it's done. Truly an amazing accomplishment if it works...

Scarlet badis are gone, how about Galaxy Rasboras?

aren't there dwarf rasboras, or are those the galaxies?
it's like harlequin or hatchet rasbora or something. let me try and find a pic.

this is it harlequin rasbora (aka hatchet, apparently)
i like em and i think they stay really small.

Galaxy Rasboras are very small. They look like little trout.

hmmmm.... well, if they are only about an inch a piece you could get 4-5 of them. harlequins may stay small but they are quite active, so i'd put them in no less than a 10G. smae deal on the DG and CG.

Actually, the Galaies are about 1/2" each. I'll get a trio, see how they do.

bumblebee gobies!

i think this might have already been mentioned.
