These two blue spots spend an awful lot of time together, might need to raise the temp a bit soon, see if i can make some magic happen. Pickerel is lurking as always, keeping the shiners in check. It takes more shiners than i thought to keep him full. Got a 10g full of them to keep my stock up.

Would love to, a 150 native setup is my dream tank, but the wife would kill me if i got any more big tanks.

Sorry, fighting an ick outbreak at the moment among the shiners, probably due to the conditions in the "food" holding tank i am using and the shock of dropping them directly in from unheated water... still doing 60% changes weekly but doing them daily for the weekend. No other fish are affected at the moment.

Noticed only some of the shiners had ick. Removed the affected shiners, returned them to the holding tank. Noticed that all the shiners in that tank had ick... treating that tank now. Also found two madtom fry in the holding tank that mustve hitchiked in with debris from the net! Lucky me!

Main tank ick free... for now. Will monitor and keep up the WCs for the weekend.
