yep... your bettas gonna be toast... I was looking into tank mates and such, because as I mentioned before, Ive personally never kept them... but have sold them, so I needed to know the conspecifics to be able to let them go. I just came across an article the other day of some wild ones attacking a baby crocodile... if thats not ballsy I dont know what is ha ha ha... after that I'm drawing the conclusion... theyre better off species only tank

It may be way more difficult due to the size, but what you would be looking for is while holding them upsidedown, look at their goods... a (oo) determines male and (Oo) for female. larger hole is for laying the eggs
