nice to see someone actually using peoples opinions too <3 what fish do you have in there at the moment?
at the moment
2 5" kuhli loaches
1 6.5" african brown knife
1 3" glass catfish
1 2" killifish that no1 can ID
2 .75" baby florida flagfish
4 2" mickey mouse platys
4 1.25" glolite tetras
1 2" kuhli loach
it is doing well with good filtration and an ample amount of oxygen =)

I'd put the bamboo in a vase ,and set it in the kitchen window seal 
.. then put the leafy plant in front of the filter intake(not too close!)to help hide it a bit.
.. set the drift wood as a center piece (like it to be bigger).. and lay your rock randomly(somewhat natural) around the drift wood.

if i get a bigger piece of dirftwood ill try this out tho!

yea i like the plant .. just didnt know that is what you wanted as a focal point .. Im starting a planted and dont have a clue yet , as you can tell
