new oscar in established tank not eating

It took my oscar two weeks to eat, your okay. He's just adjusting and he won't starve himself to death. Can you post a pic of thise 400 gallon PLEASE!!!!! I would love to see it.

animals will never starve. just drop a few pieces of food every day in the same place. if it comes down to it hunger will drive him to insanity just like it does people and he will have no choice but to eat.

My newly aquired 8" Oscar won't eat either, it's been a couple of weeks. He's recovering from HITH from previous owner but he's about all healed up. He's just not eating and spits out pellets I give him. I don't like to let food waste because it will make the water bad. I'll just let him be, he will throw a temper tantrum once and awhile, maybe he's trying to tell me something.
