Whats up Noddy...Yeah, I figured the more forums giving me different input the better...hehe.
Well...All was going well. I had been watching them for an hour or so and I didn't observe any aggressive behavior...the Gourami was curious about the O, but she didn't seem aggressive. I watched an hour long episode on the tube and when I walked back to the tank my new O was in a corner sulking in a scared manner. The Gourami had nipped a bit of fin and pecked the O's side pretty good. I moved The Gourami and my 5 Peppered Cory Cats into my extra 20 Gallon cycled tank.
The O is doing OK though. He is eating eagerly...hanging out in a cave for the most part. But he does come out to see me when I come around. I think he is happy with me because I removed the Gourami. Last night I caught the O in a net and...without removing him from the water...I poured 10mL of Stress Coat in the water over him. Is this OK? It made sense to me...but I know fish are pretty sensitive to meds.
Are there any other precautions I should take with his injury. He really is doing surprisingly well.
