i will boost my water temp up to like 82, and i all ready do 25% water changes every 2-3 days.i dont like my sand being dirty or my water. Thanks for the help tho, i cant wait for him to grow larger, may end up just keeping him and nothing else, love his personality.

lol boost your water to 87 and get like 4 more ;) you wont regret it

yeah i agree 82 isnt quite enough, your other fish will be just fine... boost up the temp to what boosten said. What size tank do ya got maybe you could get a few more

i only have a 55 right now, i am well aware that everything in my tank will more than likely out grow it, but i may have a 240 coming my way for free, if the 240 dosnt get here, i will return most of my fish except maybe two, ill either take them back to the lfs or find some one around here that will give them a good home. i would get more peacocks but they sold out of them, that was the first time i ever saw them at my lfs and ive been going tho for about a year, so i doubt i will see them again soon.

here is a pic of him, still small, is it possible to tell what he is at this size. lol, ive never seen fish take down guppys like he does.

I have 5 P's in a 55g but I already hae there 240g waiting. But I would grab a few more if I were you and watch how they feed in a pack. I liken there feeding to that of pahana! It's an amazing site to watch the pack go back and fourth all night also.

like i said, i would love to get some more but the lfs sold out in under a day, i was the first to spot them, they were in a tank without a price, and when the price was put up i was told they lasted about 5 hours and were all gone.

thanks guys, if i get the 240 im gonna get more. the moment i put him in my tank he was my favorite fish.
