Here is my young BG male. He's only about 5 inches long. As for the post on slow growness I have to ask what are you feeding. I feed 45% percent food. Kens pellets, NLS pellets and NLS flake. Mine has grown very fast but they are young, maybe they will start slowing down.

i was feeding Hikari,bloodworms and other lfs foods just to give a variety but noticed they grew slow maybe just my luck

Thanks very much. He came out of a group of 8 I bought and by far the best one. Just wish I had more females for him.

Since all of you guys have kept jacks.......is it better to have a clay pot in the tank for breeding or just slates like does it really matter?
