thank you! he coloured up a lot better the next day. also i noticed that the flash really kills the colour. washes it out pretty bad. any photo taking tips?

open your window if you take pic during noon time. Turn on your room lights and tank lights when you take pic at night. Turn off flash when you take. This will show more color of your red. If you use white T5 lights , do not turn on all of them because they will also wash your CR's color. I recommend u get those pinkish T5 for plan grow for your red, you will see the different. And get a Nan light
. And turn on at least 8 hours of lights a day so your fish will show more color.
thanks for the suggestions and kind words! now i just have to raise up this chilli into a champion. i cant wait til he grows big like the rtg!! i took some more pics of the fish. looks better now after a few days of settling in. will upload asap!
