New Payara finally had a good meal!

Had me worried for a few days. i am used to new fish eating almost right away. My tank has very aggressive feeders so I attached a thawed Silverside to a loop of fishing line and dangled it in front of him.....yesterday he bit it. Today he swallowed it whole! i was glad to see he is adjusting....hope he gets a bit more assertive!


I hope these are clearer pics! He is about 7.5".

Very busy tank....red hooks and silver dollars, Dats, , 2 medium cats....and a Frontosa....Moving all into a 150 monday!

I stumbled across him.....had never seen one for sale in person....expensive but the same price I see online for 6".....plus no shipping!

They've gone up in price,used to be around fifty dollars but now they are close to one hundred,when they are in stock.I know of one place that has two for over one hundred dollars each....Good to see that yours has come around and started eating, and what you want it to eat.I love the gold sheen that tats get on their bodies.
