  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They can go up to 3 weeks without eating. Just keep trying and eventually they'll break and eat

That's the plan! I was just curious because my baby one ate an hour after he was put in so I thought these ones would as well.

You just got them on Monday?..Give them some time to settle in,shouldn't be too much longer now what have you been offering and what's the baby eating?

It will take some time. What are you trying to feed them?

The baby is eating minnows so I'm trying to feed these guys the same thing since I have a tank full of them. I just thought that it was weird cuz the baby is all by itself and ate an hour after acclimating him and these ones are twice the size and there's 3 of them, but they still aren't comfortable enough to eat.

My first payara was a red tailed tat.It was also my first fish to be shipped to me and right out if the bag it took down an Apollo shark but others I have gotten did not eat right away...just goes to show ya.

Give him time and try least twice a day. My Armatus didn't eat for 2 whole weeks when I first got him. I refuse to feed live foods unless its from one of my tanks.
