You are aware small pbass should be kept with elevated tank temps also. Probably 85F+ with tons of aeration and clean water. So is the Freddie in the 55 also?
yes he is, and the tank has a castle that has aeration and an air stone bar thing it has tons or aeration. the water is clean too 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 5ppm nitrate. the water is warm as well, around 82 degress
i picked up some ich cure today too. i removed him from the 55 into a 3 gallon tank i had from a long time ago. he seems happy in it, i fed him freeze dried blood worms and he hate them along with nls cichlid pellets which he ate as well. i'll leave him in the 3 gallon for a couple weeks and let him grow a little bit until he can hold his own. how long do you think it will tak him to grow? whats their growth rate?
no offense but your making tons of errors ttg is right all pbass under six inches should be kept in temps over 85 with an airstone . Central american cichlids and pbass is a bad mix in general bass arent a mean fish unless they are spawning they are more of a im big and if you fit in my mouth ill eat you kinda bully just doing what comes natural to them .
also 3" fish in a three gallon tank not good at all compare that to you living in your bath tub better not release any waste it will be immediately toxic .
Is this 3G tank cycled? Otherwise you're going to go through a cycle and likely you'll lose your bass. I think it'd be in your best interest to give it back to your lfs. Your mix of ca cichlids in a tank too small for them isn't helping your case either. They can grow really fast given proper conditions 1"+ per month.
