Just ordered 6 2" devils from Jeff Rapps. Here is his description "true red devils of tank bred Lake Nicaragua stock". Hopefully I will be able to get a pair. Will post pictures once they get here next Thursday.

Well I got them this morning.
Did not get pictures of them eating but they tore the food up. Haven't seen appetites like that in quite a while.
Forgot to mention the light is off so they don't get freaked out.

Very cool, I was actually just talking to jeff about ordering 5-6 midas growouts at about 3" a piece. The middle guy in the last pic has some nice lips for such a little devil!
That one seems to be the boss as of today but there is a smaller one that wants nothing to do with the pack and the bigger one has not gone around him. Almost seems like a good candidate that will spin a bearing.

Ok, for anyone that has ever had a store bought devil like myself, they would be lunch for these guys. I have never in my life seen a group of fish that is this insane. They simply don't care. They don't care if they just got beat up. They go after the next one that passes by. If 2 go after the same piece of food, it's on. If 2 are going at it and a 3rd happens to be in the area, it's a 3 for all. I hope I will be able to keep all of them long enough to try for a pair. I was wanting to get a Royal pleco but am now 2nd guessing that idea. Truly insane true devils.

Ok I had brain fart and lost 2. They are about 2 1/2" inches long and I thought there is no way they will fit up filter tube. Well 2 of em did. I had to tear the plumbing apart 2x to get them out. Didn't know the 2nd was in there. Pulled em both right up to the pump head. I did find an old sponge that I was able to fit over it until they get a little bigger. Anyway I was thinking of getting a few black convicts to have in there sort of as a dither. I think they would be fast enough to get away but not big enough to cause any trouble. Anyone else have this setup?
