In my tank I have a 7 inch male JD, a 6 inch Midas, 4 inch male Green Terror, 2 inch JD, and a 2-2.5 inc convict pair. The convicts are super fast and dont get bothered by my other fish. They are also the ballsiest fish I have (especially the male since he is wild caught). Together they team up and ward off even the Red Devil that almost 3 times their size. I love the fish to death. haha Yesterday I was doing a water change/ tank cleaning and the male convict started attacking my hand. Its crazy the difference between a wild fish and captivity breed fish. I definitely reccomend convicts.

No one has tried convicts in the same tank?

i have but it did not work out . but they were alot smaller too so that could be the reason. I want to try again although i cant seem to find any convicts bigger than 2-3 inches i want full grown ones . good luck and beautiful devils i might add

Ive used convicts as dithers and use to breed them. (Almost hard not to, lol). Yes they are fast. So fast they can pick on a fish 5x the size of them because they can't be caught. Especially if they try to breed. (Again hard not to) I'd go tin foil barbs for dithers
