Great video and pics. I like the black ray sitting on top of the marble at 1:57 in the video.

Thanks Jason, Yep she is my nicest blackie female. She will eventually makes some very nice pups with my male blackie.

No Thanks on the Dorado, rather keep my VATF in one piece. Also on the Tors, while I find them attractive they tend to remind me of a giant Minnow. ;)
Well if you do satisfy that itch with a VATF make sure its large enough not to get cloaked by one of the pups. Mine was and was only saved cause I walked into the room and seen his tail sticking out from under one of the female blackies. He was 4" and she was 6". He was a quick learner after that, now I think he is much to fast. I got my itch from West1's old 16" monster.

I agree 100% on West's influence. I thought I might be OK when he decided to sell, then you got one. I always heard horror stories of how skiddish they are. And if there's a chance of getting one that's not it definetly sounds worth the gamble.

Tors may not look ideal, my significant other called them "river fish" cause they supposedly looked like something you can catch in the lake a few blocks away. :( But without "dithers" mixing apex predators becomes much more difficult. Without Dithers my Dorado would have killed eachother already.

Maybe simple is better........ lol

Mine is mildly skiddish but only when I move to suddenly when cleaning the inside of tank. (Or if little kids bang on the tank) Just have to do thing smoothly not quickly or suddenly, he has jumped out 3 times while cleaning but all was well. He tends to just swim the tank almost like patrolling for food.
And as you know I like simple, don't like the headaches. My fish are to help me relax, not have to deal with drama there as well. Enough of that in everyday life.;)

Short Vid of VATF........

i wish i could upload vids off my phone.

Thanks, you can upload from phone. Just not with the app, at least I haven't figured it out yet. Just do like normal from the full site mode and embed from you tube. After you upload to you tube first of course.
