No....not a dwarf. The adult male we caught in Hondo was 14". This fish is undefined. We know it is a Parachromis type. DNA tests are in the works to determine if it is the unknown parachromis that was described by Miller many years ago. Managuense is not endemic to Honduras. They were brought in by man. Loiselle is in the rivers. We didn't catch any other Parachromis in the water except this one. It's either a naturally occuring hybrid, a new species, or some new morph of the Managuense that evolved in Honduras.
