Here's a few new photos of my Bagarius yarrelli and Merodontotus tigrinus.
There is a small chance that my Bagarius is actually B. suchus and not B. yarrelli, but the few taxonomic keys that I have found for the Bagarius genus don't make it super easy to differentiate the two species. Anyway, these photos were taken with the flash firing from above the tank, which I think give the specimens a little better detail and depth. The one with the closeup of the mouth shows the beginning of some very big teeth (kind of hard to see), but since he is only about 5 inches long, it will take awhile to reach freshwater Jaws proportions!
