Here's a few new photos of my Bagarius yarrelli and Merodontotus tigrinus.
There is a small chance that my Bagarius is actually B. suchus and not B. yarrelli, but the few taxonomic keys that I have found for the Bagarius genus don't make it super easy to differentiate the two species. Anyway, these photos were taken with the flash firing from above the tank, which I think give the specimens a little better detail and depth. The one with the closeup of the mouth shows the beginning of some very big teeth (kind of hard to see), but since he is only about 5 inches long, it will take awhile to reach freshwater Jaws proportions!

is that a baby goonch cause look similiar awesome tig

Hey, thanks for all the nice comments. That tig is about 8 inches (maybe 9) without the streamers (with the tail streamers, probably 12 inches, he's got great streamers!)
That is a baby goonch! Goonches are Bagarius yarrelli and that's what he is supposed to be. The only thing he might be other than B. yarrelli is B. suchus (which has a much more restricted geographic range). He's probably B. yarrelli. I feed them Hikari Bio-Pure frozen bloodworms by the way...they will eat small feeders, but I almost never offer them because of fear of parasitism.
