I soaked it for a month and it doesn't tint the water too much....

Looks very good ..your entire set up...:D

I wanna see some other parrots. Do you have parrots liz? They are so cool. People say they can't defend themselves? Not true, they are very very capable of doing damage and killing.(not that that makes the fish) I have only been able to put rams with them. They tolerate nothing else...

No I don't have parrots yet..i have the bird parrots though...:) Post your parrots folks ..i would like to see them too.

They are beautiful! That is a nice group you have there.

I think the breeders of parrots, chill the eggs during development to make all female/sexless fish. This is a trick used in commercial hatcheries to prevent breeding. I am trying to cross my parrot with a con, and then back to the parrot ,and then repeat one more time to make 90% parrots and hopefully fertile....:naughty: I will keep you in mind for some of those fry. I assume it will take a couple more years but I'm up to the task! Thanks for the comment on my babies!

That is a task.... I'm right there with you, I want to create some beautiful faded fh's.

I have a gold severum male shaking for my little texas/parrot...that would be interesting

Why is it that when you get a non fertile pair....right away you assume it's the female!!

Well in this case it's the male that is not fertile......:banhim:
