10.5mm DX or 16mm? i think i read you don't buy third parties...

been thinking of picking up something rectalinear for awhile now for a bit of a change up on my wideangle shooting, mabey a siggy 14mm. doesn't give nearly the effect of the true fish, but as i've heard they still have a nice fun aspect to them.

first shot has outstanding color, whatever you got it's definetly a sharp lens too.

All of my equipment is Nikon. This lens is a AF DX Fisheye-NIKKOR 10.5mm f/2.8G ED lens. The detail this lens captures is amazing. Here's a close up of the two tiny photos in the top right of the photo above.

The HDR series was shot at f/22. High end exposures were a second...low end 30 seconds.

The first photo is actually a high dynamic range (HDR) photo as pointed out by alyssatheurer. It's actually five photos compressed into one to capture detail in both highlights and shadows.

did you do some hdr on the first 2 photos?

Good eye. Actually it's only the first photo.

Thanks folks.

Nice shots!

It's like the never ending story, never ending sweetness. The one gold leaf on the reds is pure awesomated. Did you move the gold leaf onto the red, or was it like that when you saw it first?

There was a red tree next to a gold tree. Both had dropped there leaves. I actually tried to get a photo of one "blending" into the other, but it wasn't working. I shot the leaves in a cemetery... and the various headstones kept getting in the way. So I settled on shooting the periphery.

I shot one more with HDR but wasn't as happy with the results. Here's the base of the yellow tree:
