Liz, what do you feed the pacu and what did you feed to get there size. Reason I'm asking is, I thought they were more of an omnivore or even closer to herbivore. I have a customer come in for feeders because he only gives live food to his red belly pacus. Says makes them grow faster.

I feed mine only bananas, grapes, zucchni, potato's, frozen silversides, pellets..and algae wafers.. they grow fast on their own She is wrong to do that.. they need their veggies in their diet... they will eat almost everything but they are suppose to get mostly vegetable diet .
