New pick angelfish pickup

This is a marble angelfish. They sometimes develop a gold/orange head.
From the looks of its body and its short fins it appears to be large, and probably old. As angels get old they take on that bulky look like most other SA cichlids. My guess is that he was probably a trade-in at your LFS.
Angelfish do not hybridize with other fish so you do not have a hybrid.

hahah, ohh, sell the silver and then upgrade it. why dont u try flowerhorns? but i think tht they will not fit with ure angelfish. aggressive man. O.Obtw, ure angelfish would look more beautiful in a planted tank.
No flowergorns are mean lol. I used to have a kamfa and she was a breezy for sure. And yea I just added fake plants to my tank. I am going to take a pic and show how my setup is when I get home from work.

Well thanks for the id. And yea I was told he was a trade in and is 2 years old. He's such a beauty for his age and hybrid or not he's an awesome wet pet. Do you know if its a male or a female?

It's usually male angels and discus who develop the larger humps on the foreheads, but that's not 100%. Dominant females will form them as well. The only real way to tell with angels is to spawn them.
I see ok cool thanks I might just do that. I don't want the angel to feel alone. Since I don't know what the sex truly is, I'm going to name him/her Mystery.

How does your Angel Fish get along with the Parrot Fish? I was told by an LFS, that Parrots and Angels don't get along.
Well hey hey hey its gotta be my lucky day lol. My lfs store owner also smtold me that my angel and two bps didn't get along as well but I decided to take my chances. And they are doing fine. I'm going to take a video and post it up as soon as Im done watching the GS WARRIORS winning interviews.
