New Pick up and some old friends!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Man this little guy is a beast. He has been feeding ULTRA hard on feeder's and just got him on krill. He is the ruller of the tank and he is in with Cichla 3x his size but chases them all when they get close enough. I witnessed him bitting a feeder in half the other day. I love this guy!

P.S got a surprise for everyone coming in over the weekend.:naughty: My passion for Creni will be complete with this last addition. Now just growing them out to see how well the Big Pikes will mix with everything else I have. I wil post some pics tonight if I get some time.

So now I have RED,GREEN,YELLOW (Cobra), and ........ one last Creni to add to the MASTERPIECE!

Good to hear it's doing so well. I just hope it doesn't end up being TOO aggressive. I saw the new pike you're getting; it's very nice. I'm hoping to go there early Friday afternoon.

I am going first thing Sat morning. Moving the 240g into the living room downstairs on Sunday. What are you going up there to get? More Bichirs? :naughty:

As for aggression he is past that point he is a Creni 100% and you know how they are they will test everything and anything in there path when young just to see if the other fish is really going to let them take a bit out of them. The only deffense the others have is RUN! The bigger Mystery Cichla try to flare up but the teeth on a Creni are way to much for them to deal with. I just wish I had of bought another one now. But I know someone is going to have an extra on since he was trying to get a pair out of the three he brought maybe we can make a deal sometimes down the road.

No, it's a secret that I don't want to divulge in public :grinno:

Awesome pike collection :headbang2hats off to you.

I picked up a trio from Rapps myself. Cobras are very cool fish loads of personality and very active, not skittish at all.

I was told they were seasonal (spring)this not being the season I wonder how Rapps got them in? Well I'm just glad he did they are very healthy active specimens as well would recommend to anyone.

Right on Turtle- Slayer your pair was the whole reason for me grabbing this one. Maybe after you get your pair I can arrange to take the other one off your hands unless you get another offer you can't refuse. But I am head over heals about this little guy. I love all my pikes nut this Cobra right now is in a leauge of his own. ;)
