My petsmart said that my BGK will grow about 3 inches and nicely do in a 5 g - nonsense... they grow almost as big as a 5 g though...

picked him up today same lfs lol went there to grab some live black worms and there these guys were he said he got them in last week and had been quarantine them

That's an Ossa Knife, I believe. Always wanted wanted one but never had the space.

lol, sorry for another post, but most electric Knives will not get along. A BGK and Gymnorhamphichthys hypostomus are both electric Knives. I had the same issue with my BGK and my E. humboldtii, seems how they are both electric. I would seperate them as soon as possible. Its one of the reasons why BGK's will get along with African Knives, because one is electric and one is not.

BGKs are territorial and therefore aggressive to any fish they consider too similar. ABKs (which are electric actually) happen to be different enough to coexist with them, while E. humboldtiis are not. There are several species of knifefish that are nonterritorial, the most common species being ABK, glass, and centipede.
