New pick up - fw bumblebee grouper

looks good Rob. take care of him for me. Wish I could have had the time and dedication to give the fish but I just no with everything going on I would have had to keep him with a community of pbass larger than himself and didn't want to have to have him competing for food and such. i know its in good hands. Was this fish kept in freshwater at the lfs? because I have seen many on the net that are kept in freshwater but all the ones I have seen in the flesh have been in a marine setup. I wonder, can these fish be kept permanently in freshwater?

He was in full fresh when Mike got him and is in full fresh now. Just keeping my pH high at around 7.6
