The ATF Family are fast healers. My old GATF that was 14" or so almost knocked his entire snout off. Took about 8months to get his snout back. I sold him with his 2 front teeth missing but he healed so fast it was crazy.

I have no doubt in my mind your guy will look brand new with the big shark tail

i didn't tig, most meds don't work well with gars so i'm just leaving it to clean water to heal up. mich, i dont think i'll be getting any tiny fish now that ive got plants in....haha

he's on shrimp, sorry for the late reply

updates, he's got half a shark tail, and allowed me to op on his dorsal fin. healed up real nice too, so in return im giving him his own tank

can't remember how long it's been, but the shark fin was just starting to appear on the top of his cadual fin then

not too long since the above picture, but damn he's looking more sharky by the day
