Thanks warmouth. Yea I'm running out of room for tanks. The good thing about natives is that I can put them in the garage and know they'll be fine with how cold it gets.

well i went fishing and had some left over suckers.. not sure if there the same or not?? what do you think?

Yours don't look to have the extended mouth like the NHS, so yours looks a lot like a Mountain Sucker.

huh.. ok not as cool of a fish i assume.. oh well ill probly scoop them out of my tank next time i go fishing for pike!

Nuge, looks like you have a white sucker - Catostomus commersoni. Gotta feed those guys a lot to keep them from being emaciated. And just a warning - they get big, fast fi you are able to feed them what they need.

what do they need? i just toss a lill sinking koi food in now and then.. its handy since my koi flew off with a heron and i had a tub of the stuff!
