Thanks guys, Im not too worried. Ive bought one-eyed and blind fish before on purpose. I dont mind coddling and giving a home to "challenged" fish. It makes them unique. The seller did have a good rep, and I asked him about it before I posted this. He apologized many times and said if there are any problems he could work with me about another one. I still have to get him to eat something, he hasnt adjusted fully yet. I tried mysis shrimp, and some even landed in his face and on his head without him eating. He did pick his head up and flare his spines. Hes a cute little thing trying to look intimidating!

Bichirs are very resliant fish I had one loose a eye and all the skin between his finlits and tail from a convict cic that raged one day and after putting him in qt for a few weeks and power feeding him and treating the water he was back to his old self minus an eye and became the most aggressive fish

try feeding him frozen bloodworms.. I hope he eats soon.. if he does then your now an official endlicheri daddy. :-)
