Hey Tyler, they are doing good, about 3" now. One has started to show a little dominance so the other has some minor fin damage, hopefully this will not become an issue. Only problem is feeding, they won't take any dry foods, but will stuff themselves on earth worms, cut market shrimp, and frozen brine or blood worms.

Have you checked with Jon Jennings he may have some larger, rarer pike available. Looks like rapps has a few different available too.

Keep an eye on the aggression. I got 3 of them (johanna) at the same size, about 3", thinking that would help keep any aggression to a minimum. The dominant pike outgrew the other two by half within the first month, and was double the size in about 3 months. He/she eventually killed both of the other two in a single night. The one that's left is gorgeous and about 6" now, but I still wish it hadn't killed the other two.

Glad they're doing good. Pikes have a pretty good appetite, and I'll bet they will start taking pellets soon enough. After hearing these guys talk about how pretty female Johanna are, I might pick one up should I have the opportunity. I want something with nice colors that grows larger.

I had contacted Jon. He said he will be in contact with me after he gets back from the ACA.

Yeah that's what I just found out. Got home from work went to feed them only to find one just barely alive. Move the heatlhy one to a different tank, but not sure if the other one will make it or not.

Sorry to hear, hope it pulls through. Judging by the coloration on mine, its probably a female, which I find surprising. So far my most aggressive creni's have all been males.

Yeah, he's still kickin' lost it's tail and 50% of other finnage. It is eating well though, so I think it will recover.

You'd be surprised by how much of a beating they can take and still keep on going!!! Resilient little buggers! Hope it continues to recover and come back with gusto!
