Do you have any idea of the sturgeons species? To be safe keep it in the mid 70's if possible. I've kept shovelnose sturgeon and they were ravenous for live daphnia, black worms, and cyclopeze. Mine also ate Micro-pellets from Hikari. Frozen brine shrimp are in my opinion less that ideal fish food but if he eats them don't take them away until he eats something else. pH of 7 is fine, they are quite tolerant of reasonable water conditions.
a bubble wand to provide aeration will go a long ways to keeping your sturgeon comfortable.

pic would help

I hear they're hard to keep. A lot of aeration is needed and low to mid 70's. They grow pretty slow from what I've heard.

I'm guessing its a diamond, ive seen a few around here for sale before.
Do some research, wish you would of before as you will see real quickly why, but good luck, hope you have the room for it.
Heard of nerve damage being caused if they are kept in too high of temps, also they are always constantly swimming im guessing in order to breathe, just like some species (not all) of sw sharks have to do.
