Just my opinion, but i highly doubt this hybrid has any vieja. It is definatly an Escondido cross. Id say either a failed red tex from maybe a flowerhorn/herichthys bred with escondido or just another herichthys. Body shape looks more Cyano than it doesn vieja or parathraps.
Does anybody have any record of those 2 species breeding?
