i would be worried about the jar turning into a terror with all those fish

The jar does really well with his tankmates so far. He's been in there with all the tankmates since he was 4"(he's about 8" now). I just have to be careful when adding new fish. He ate 2 tf barbs I bought at petsmarts black friday sale:WHOA:!!!!

Odoes got some serious backup when it comes to their protruding teeth on each side, My old 12" dorado almost lost his entire tail from a odoe & i've seen some pretty nasty gashes from them. Only reason why i haven't picked up my friends 12" odoe being afraid he & my atf will cut eachother up. Though overall they are not aggressive at all unless they feel threaten by other tankmates.

Flawless Odoe, think i'm going to go pick up a shoal next week when i get my armatus.

My jar was fine then he got to about 10 inches and a light turned on and he killed 3 fish while i was at work

I know all to well how jars are. This is my on going experiment. When I purchased my jar he was about 4" and in with tank mates. So I wanted to put him in a grow-out with multiple tank mates. My theory is that a jar growing out with tank mates might not be aggressive to others as he grows. I just have to be careful adding new fish to his tank. If they are small enough to fit in his mouth they are eaten, however, some of his tank mates are small enough but aren't bothered by him at all.
