Yeah- He told me his supplier had not verified which they came from... maybe now he has & it's tocatins. In regards to your runt troutking, I got 3 & have a runt too. I like to get them eating good right from the start, so I get guppies. My runt didn't eat aggressively either, but once the others were full, he went into predator mode & got his share. And once the lights went out the rest were gone this morning. So he might have gotten even more. I want to get them fueled up with food for now. I am gonna keep a close eye on the runt as they need more attention.

Land is dividing them look at the map the squiggley line below araguaia is the araguaia river and the squiggley blue line below tocantins is the tocantins river they are divided by land but start from the same point. The white color you see is just highlighting the rivers to show you which states they run through.
ok that means the 2 rivers do not connect it anywhere

No, the Tocantins flows into the Araguaia. So regardless of the said differences they probably are a lot alike and share direct DNA like cousins.
Did fish heaven tell you he found out for sure they are tocatins? I'm asking b/c I'm gonna be raising them with 3 of Mark's Araguiua & 3 of Mark's tocatins....Should be interesting to see them all grow!

They still settle dow but are very tiny and skinny I have them in a 10 gallones for now
