Your monster has awoken! Feed him as much as he will eat, like I mentioned before, at his size they are fragile and you need him to grow. The good news is their metabolism is extremely fast and they will grow fast, sometimes up to an inch a month? Once they hit around 6" or so they become bullet proof but until then they can be sensitive. I am glad he is eating for you, enjoy it while he is small because before you know it he could be this big and eating you out of house and home!

They will stop. My friend has a 13 inch and a 16 inch and he dumps 250 feeders in at a time. They frenzy at first then they graze on it for the next few days. He is also feeding a Goonch Catfish to as well.

I'd say all the above. I feed mine a mix of cichlid gold and massivore and their colors and health are great.

Shrimp with shells on, massivors and mussels is what I fed all my bass.
