So Jeff has gotten some more of my money LOL. I picked up this pair of 'Choco' acaras. Gorgeous fish, picture dont do them justice, major blue spangles on them. Yes does look like both gt and ba nice looking cichlid great pickup.
 
I'm so glad someone finally picked these guys up. I've been tempted to for a while before I found my White Saums... These were wild caught, correct? or F1 from his w/c pair? They look great
 
I've also been eyeballing these guys, I was seriously considering getting a pair. Do you know how big they get?
 
Andicca, have you got photos of the sp "Buenvatentura"? I can't wait to see these guys grow in to adult specimen (assuming they aren't already there lol) great pick up!

Shucks, I'll have to email Rapps and get some more info. I was thinking about doing a planted tank with the choco, some laetacara and some cory's or something.

How's the aggression level so far? I see you have them with some severums.

I will try to get some pics up. Honestly, they are not much to look at right now, but they are feisty! The 'chocos' are a little skittish still, not the 'buenaventura' they dont hide when I come up.

hay mate hows it going my ones have decided to give me fertlised eggs.

I really want the fish in the third pic :$ i have emailed the guys but they dont seem to respond. lol
