awesome fish! careful when breeding though. i would keep the m/f separated until they hit breeding size, because females are known to chomp on their mates. If you don't, at least keep her VERY well fed

Dominicolas they are basically the most predatory aggressive fish for theyre size (pikes convicts and others could own one but still) the will eat anything that will fit in there large mouth and wouldnt thank of eating nonliving unless tricked into doing so. the female commonly eats the male after mating so be careful.
