no your right its not very deep. its 12" back to front and 14" top to bottom. strange tank dimensions imo. i picked it up from the free ads and didnt have to travel far to collect it and was only £20 inc stand. i just wish the lettings agents would hurry up and evict the tenants of the property were supposed to move to. i have my eye on a bigger tank from aquariums ltd uk.
